A&A Joinery and Woodworking launches new website to mark ISO 9001:2000 Certification

7th March 2006

To mark its success in achieving certification to the international quality management standard ISO 9001:2000, A&A Joinery & Woodworking in the West Midlands has launched a new, user-friendly website at www.aajoinery.co.uk.

Manufacturing of quality doors

Achieving certification with BM TRADA Certification Ltd, said Managing Director Tony Shinton, underpins the company's strategy of continuous improvement. 'We are proud of our workmanship and the new website will enable existing and prospective customers to see examples of our craftsmanship for themselves.'

The company manufactures softwood windows and doorsets for housebuilders and building contractors, with growing demand from the social housing sector. 'Initially, ISO 9001:2000 was a lever for us to be able to deal with local authority and social housing clients, but very soon we were able to appreciate its many other benefits.'

The company has a track record for quality and reliability going back some 20 years. Since achieving quality management certification, A&A Joinery has rapidly expanded its doorset business - and is now selling further afield, from the Midlands down to the M25 corridor. 'We are not selling on price, but on reputation,' Tony Shinton added.

A&A Joinery employs 35 staff at its workshops in Wednesbury. It offers a range of standard window profiles, but is also able to manufacture bespoke windows, while the majority of the doorsets supplied are custom made.
